Discuss how commercial photography is ever evolving in the digital age, adapting to emerging technologies such as AI generated art and editing.

About Chris Nicholls

How to describe Chris?

He’s tall, he’s got a beard, and he’s pretty funny if you appreciate a dry wit.

He’s also a really good photographer.

The late, great Gerry Mamone liked to describe him as the “Broomstick Photographer” in response to Chris’s knack for pulling together genius lighting scenarios without too much fretting about the equipment on hand. Need to float in a bespoke gobo or flag on a moment’s notice?? No problem- grab a broomstick and a piece of cardboard and you’re off to the races.

Chris’s versatility and creativity have served him well over the years both in the studio and on location- from the darkroom days of the 1990s, through the revolutionary transition to digital and now grappling with the reality of AI permeating all art forms. He’s seen it all and is thrilled to share his knowledge and experience with the next generation of visionary photographers.
